I'm shocked, shocked I say to find out that the Alibi has endorsed Eric Griego for Mayor! That's about as amazing as a regularly scheduled bowel movement! ;-) I'm calling it now, write it down, the Daily Lobo II ... er.. the Tribune will follow suit and endorse Eric for Mayor. After all, they've kissed his ass enough that if they tried any more their lips would be massaging his colon.

Even more shocking is the fact that the Journal has endorsed Mayor Chavez. Jesus people, are there any shocks coming out of the media on the election. (although I had the Journal pegged for probably endorsing Brad, since he's a republican and so is the Journal management, but they might have been distracted and not known who they were endorsing *see below*).

I guess the Journal is waiting breathlessly to send even more reporters into a Hurricane zone and fly into the middle of Rita. (did anyone read the truly sad story in the Journal last week about how they were waiting to send people to New Orleans to report on the aftermath of Katrina? Yeah right, they probably didn't care about New Orleans until the levees broke, and then it was for their selfish "we can get a good story out of this" reasons).
