It's nice to see Miguel Gomez is taking his cues from the Griego campaign: if you don't like your opponents, sue to get them off the ballot!

Gomez knows his only chance of reelection happens if opponent Ken Sanchez isn't listed on the ballot. Sanchez has been asked by a lot of people in District 1 to run because Gomez is such a clown. Sanchez could announce his run the day before the election and I'll bet he'd club Miguel like a baby seal.

Will Gomez's suit work? We'll see. (I think it's interesting that the private investigator in the case was named Eric Griego, no relation of course to the mayoral candidate... yeah... right...)

And speaking of lawsuits, will we get to see Eric Griego's file suit against Juan Jose Pena to keep him off of the District 3 ballot? Not damn likely.
